What is Bluetooth Wireless Technology?
Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short
distances between various devices using radio waves. Bluetooth allows the
timeclocks in TimePilot Extreme Blue and TimePilot Extreme Blue Enhanced systems
to communicate with smartphones. The technology was invented by cell phone
manufacturer Ericsson in 1994 and gets its name from that of the tenth-century
king Harald Bluetooth, who united Danish tribes into a single kingdom.
