What's a User-Defined Export?
TimePilot collects quite a bit of
information from a clock-in or a clock-out. But sometimes all you want
is a simple spreadsheet with exactly the information you want on it—and nothing
else.
The TimePilot software gives you the ability to create your own custom "export"—a function that pulls just the information you want from the database and puts it into a spreadsheet. You set up the format you want only once; from that point onward, all you have to do is tell the software to prepare that data in that format, and the job is done.
TimePilot has many pre-defined exports that put the data in formats that can be understood by leading payroll programs and services. You can learn about them here.
User-Defined Exports are intended to allow you to set up a format that contains exactly what you want. For details on how to set one up and how to use it, click here.
