iButton Reader

The iButton Reader is included in the TimePilot Extreme Blue Enhanced Starter Kit and is used to set up iButtons for the systems.

The iButton Reader is seen as a standard USB keyboard (HID) by the system so there is no need for additional drivers. It is for use with Windows 7 and above operating systems with a QWERTY keyboard setting. It comes with an 8-foot (2.4-meter) cable with a USB type A connector. The reader unit measures 2 inches x 1.5 inches x 1 inch (51mm x 38mm x 25mm), not including mounting flanges.
