Overview

TimePilot Mobile is a free smartphone app that enables employees to clock in and out from anywhere with a cell phone signal. Exclusively available to TimePilot Cloud Edition customers, the app is compatible with both iPhone and Android devices. Each clock-in and clock-out transaction records the GPS location, ensuring accurate tracking of employee time and location.

How it Works

Step 1

Employees download the app from the App Store or Google Play and register it through the Clock Manager in TimePilot Central.

Step 2

Employees clock in and out by launching the app, selecting their name (if multiple users are registered on the device) and tapping the “In” or “Out” button to record their time. Each transaction captures the GPS location at the moment of clock-in or clock-out.

  • Employees can add notes to their transactions before clocking in or out, providing additional context for supervisors.
  • Users can view their recent transactions within the app.

Step 3

All clock-in and clock-out records are automatically sent to the TimePilot Cloud database, where supervisors can access them via TimePilot 5 management software. From there, they can review and edit transactions, generate reports, and prepare data for payroll processing—all in real time.
