Employees clock in and out by tapping their iButton to the clock. A tone sounds and the probe lights up to confirm a successful transaction.
When it's time to download the data from the clock, the supervisor taps a special Management iButton to the clock to identify himself or herself as a supervisor, then taps an icon on their iPhone or Android phone to download the data.
The data is instantly transferred from the clock to the phone. The clock also keeps the last 12,000 transactions in its memory, so if you lose your phone, you can download the data again.
On the phone, you'll see a list of your employees and their total hours for the pay period. A red arrow indicates the employee was clocked in last time the data was downloaded from the clock.
Did an employee forget to clock in or out? You can add the clock-in or clock-out right at your phone.
A simple tap on the employee's name, and you can see exactly when they clocked in and out each day.
Need to insert or edit a transaction? Just tap "Menu."
Ready to send your data to headquarters? Just tap the blue button. In a few seconds, your phone will send the data to Dropbox, a free Cloud service. The data will sit in Dropbox along with data from your other Extreme Blue clocks (if you have more than one) until the TimePilot Central Enterprise Edition software at your headquarters retrieves it.
Once all the data has been downloaded, the software can be used to create reports and prepare the data for payroll software like QuickBooks and payroll services like ADP.

An example of a three-site operation. The system can handle dozens of clocks at dozens of sites and an unlimited number of employees.
The Extreme Blue Enhanced system is designed to accommodate dozens of clocks at multiple worksites.
Supervisors gather clock-ins and clock-outs from their work sites’ Extreme Blue clocks with their smartphones. (By the way, extra Extreme Blue clocks are $449, or less than that if you buy more than one.)
The supervisors make any corrections necessary right on-site and send the data to headquarters as described above.
The data from each site is merged with data from other sites in the TimePilot software. With this system, employees can clock in at any clock and clock out at any other clock. The software records the name of the clock at which they clocked in and out.
