TimePilot’s free Extreme Blue II iPhone and Android apps are intended to be used with a TimePilot Extreme Blue II time clock (either with or without the enhancement of the TimePilot PC software), but it can also be used with original Extreme Blue clocks. If you have a mix of old Extreme Blue clocks and new Extreme Blue II clocks, this is the app you'll use. In addition, it can be used by itself as a standalone time clock system.
You'll use just the clock, the app and your iPhone or Android smartphone to create a simple time clock system.
You'll use the clock, the app and your iPhone or Android smartphone—as well as the TimePilot Central PC-based software—for a full-featured system.
For setup and use, follow the instructions for the Extreme Blue II clocks (see the links above). Please note: You may have to "pair" your iPhone (manually link up the Extreme II app) with your original Extreme Blue clocks. This is done before setting up the app and only needs to be done once.
Here's how:
A disadvantage to using the app this way is that a supervisor must clock in and clock out their employees by tapping the appropriate buttons in the app. If you’re using the app in this way, follow the instructions above for Extreme Blue II (not Extreme Blue II Enhanced) and skip the sections about downloading data to the phone.
